When Audible Channels launched Playlists, short audio programming updated regularly, the design solution was optimized for efficiency. A clean, consistent template was created for every content genre so designers could change background images and titles on the fly.
Our internal team responded by developing mental models for each channel, designing a more flexible system that allowed for a range of customization for each Playlist without losing consistency as a group. The outcome exceeded the expectations of product owners and senior leadership—earning the focus in marketing campaigns during the launch as an Amazon Prime benefit.
