Shutterstock sought a new campaign platform that would differentiate itself from its competitors and improve brand recall.
The Art & Tech print campaign outperformed competitors and the previous running campaign in all markets and was rolled out worldwide. The platform was expanded to digital, events, out of home including a takeover of a Berlin u-bahn station, busses, and street advertising columns.
Concurrently an initiative that leveraged data to build innovative search tools for customers, called Shutterstock Labs, was a becoming a strong product differentiator. The campaign concepts I pitched sought to leverage Shutterstock’s technical advantages with bright, quirky and bold imagery.
